The lake from which we get our namesake, the vibe of Austin, the spirit, energy and heart of the children who attend our schools, and a community of exemplary educators and caring adults whose support and encouragement knows no bounds, all combine to make this the destination district in Central Texas.

LTISD is a Texas Education Agency “Recognized” school district, one of only a handful in Central Texas.
On the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) tests, in the “All Students” category, greater than 90 percent of LTISD students pass the TAKS test, at every grade level, in every subject tested.
