Deputy Superintendent and General Counsel

Susan Bohn is the District's Deputy Superintendent and General Counsel. 
 
In this capacity, Susan supports the Superintendent of Schools, serving as the primary contact for all administrative and operational matters. 
 
A former Texas public school teacher, she began her legal career practicing school and public law at Bracewell & Giuliani, representing public school districts, community colleges, private schools, and private colleges.  Susan received an undergraduate degree in the Plan II program at the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Public Affairs degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree (J.D.) from the University of Texas School of Law.
 

Additionally, Susan works collaboratively with all Assistant Superintendents and Department Directors to support the vision, mission, and goals of the District.  Departments with whom she has direct authority include:

  • Campus Principals
  • Communications, Media & Community Relations
  • Community Programs
  • Extracurricular Programs
  • Human Resources
Susan also provides a wide range of legal support, including compliance with federal and state regulations and law, District policy development, and assessment of proposed and enacted legislation at the federal and state levels.

Holly Morris-Kuentz

Holly Morris-Kuentz is the Director of Educational Support Services for Lake Travis ISD. Her responsibilities include facilitating the effective use of technology in instructional programs district-wide, developing short- and long-range plans for the integration of technology into the instructional program, and coordinating the technology staff development and training program.
 
Holly’s thirteen-year career in education began as a teacher and campus technology coordinator at Alamo Heights ISD in San Antonio followed by four years in higher education administration in New York.
 
Holly obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Instructional Technology from Houston Baptist University.
