Director of Extracurricular Programs

Gary Briley is the Director of Extracurricular Programs, a position he’s held since the summer of 2008.  In his capacity, Gary is presently expanding the focus of the office to include all extracurricular programs, including fine arts as well as academic and athletic UIL teams. 

 

Gary began his career in education as a teacher/coach at Dexter Rural District in Dexter, Missouri.  Prior to his current tenure, Gary served as Associate Principal/Energy and Environmental Management Administrator at Lake Travis High School.  He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) by the Northwest Energy Education Institute at the University of Oregon.  Gary possesses a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Stephen F. Austin University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeast Missouri State University. 

 

Presently, Gary also serves as the District’s Energy Management Administrator.
