Lake Travis Elementary (LTE) is rated Exemplary by the Texas Education Agency.

Students at LTE enjoy a wide variety of subjects daily. Kindergartners through second grade students use a phonics-based program to improve reading, writing and spelling skills. Students in these grades work on decoding words daily. All students may participate in Accelerated Reading.

Curriculum also includes math, science, social studies, health and computer technology. All students have art, music, and physical education on a rotating basis. Students have access to special programs such as Content Mastery Classes, Special Education, the Discovery program in Gifted/Talented, English as a Second Language, bilingual classes, UIL, the mentoring program, 504 modifications and a leveled reading lab.
