Degrees and Certifications:
Wesley Perkins is the district’s Facility Resources Compliance and Construction Project Manager.
Prior to beginning his tenure at Lake Travis ISD in January 2016, Wesley served as Energy Manager and Interim Director of Maintenance Services at Round Rock ISD. During his tenure there, Wesley implemented sustainable energy and water conservation initiatives which reduced the Round Rock’s total cost of operations by $3.3 million per year. Overall, his experience includes more than 20 years in roles from president and general manager to construction project manager in the air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical services industry.
Wesley holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Air Conditioning Technology from Texas State Technical College in Waco, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida, and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University in Houston. He is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Project Manager, LEED ® AP certified, is a Registered Texas School Business Administrator, and is a member of the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers.
Wesley’s goal for LTISD is to reduce overall utility expenses by $250,000 per year.
