All people fall somewhere different on these lines. For example, Sally is biologically female, identifies as female, yet prefers to wear clothes that are more androgynous, her sexual orientation is homosexual. Joseph has a sexual orientation of heterosexual, and identifies as male, yet chooses to express himself as feminine, and is biologically male. Of course, everyone will pick different positions in the scale rather than 100% on one side or the other. Also, as they mature they can also discover more about themselves so their decisions on the scale changes.
