Advisory Board and Community Volunteer Opportunities

    Career & Technical Education

Partnerships with employers, the community and local colleges, bring resources from outside the high school to improve student motivation and achievement.  We welcome volunteers who are interested in sharing their business / work experiences with our students.

Our Career and Technical Education Advisory Board is composed of teachers, students, counselors, administrators, and individuals from the community that represent vast experiences and abilities across a cross section of occupational areas.  The primary purpose of the board is to work together establishing, implementing and evaluating programs.  It also works to ensure that all students receive the highest level and most recent industry curriculum with current work experiences so that students are ready for the fast paced and ever-changing world of work.

    • Build relationships between CTE Programs, business, post-secondary institutions, and the community.

    • Provide experiential learning experiences for students.

    • Improvement of CTE programs through community resources.
