Ms. Julianne Jenkerson
Julianne graduated from Texas State University San Marcos in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Having taught Pre-School for 9 years prior, she began serving Lake Travis ISD as a First Grade Teacher for West Cypress Hills Elementary (WCHE) in the Fall of 2016. During her four years at WCHE, she completed her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership through her Alma Mater, Texas State University. In 2020, she took on the role of an Instructional Support Teacher for Lake Travis Elementary where she served as the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Specialist and 504 Coordinator.
In the 2020-2021 school year, Julianne took part in the Lake Travis Future Administrator Leadership Academy (FALA) that helps to grow new administrators within the District, and during Distance Learning, she worked with other distinguished educators on the Elementary School Leadership Team serving as Schoology Ambassador and Curriculum Creator.
Julianne welcomes the responsibility of caring for the learning, safety, and emotional growth of each and every individual on campus. She looks forward to collaborating with parents, students, staff, and the community to provide the best possible educational environment for our children and to prepare each child academically, socially, and emotionally for a successful future by promoting a love of lifelong learning. She has a mission to help foster an inclusive learning environment that supports and celebrates the personal progress and growth of the whole child within a diverse community.
When not at work, Julianne enjoys being with family, her young siblings, and her two dogs, Duncan and Johnnie. With a passion for health and wellness, she spends most of her time participating in various athletic activities, hiking, camping, and cooking. She considers Lake Travis ISD her home and is inspired to help mentor and grow all future members of this community.
