New Elementary School Attendance Zones Approved for 2023-2024
-
After a lengthy discussion during its regular meeting on April 19, our school board voted unanimously to approve Option 4 of the Proposed Rezoning Changes for new elementary school attendance zone boundaries, effective for the 2023-2024 school year. The board did not approve the proposed rezoning Option A for Bee Cave Elementary School.
- Option 4 will provide relief to Rough Hollow Elementary School by rezoning neighborhoods on the south side of Highlands Boulevard to Serene Hills Elementary School. Additionally, the Madrone Ridge and Hillcrest neighborhoods in Sweetwater will be rezoned to West Cypress Hills Elementary School. No other elementary schools, or any of the District’s three middle schools, will be impacted by the Option 4 rezoning. Revised resources, including a New LTISD Street Directory with 2023-2024 School Attendance Zones, are available on our website.
