Design process of High School #2 is underway
-
On Wednesday, August 23, Lake Travis ISD and VLK Architects hosted the first of two public focus groups to assist with the design of High School #2 which was approved by voters in November 2022.
-
Referred to as the “Curation Process,” the VLK Educational Planning team guided district staff, parents, students and community members through a series of discussions and design activities.
-
VLK has been studying district tools such as strategic plans, goals for curriculum and instruction methodologies, academic programs, and state data.
- Upon completion, details associated with the status of the District’s belief system, as well as the intentions for growth, improvements, and educational changes, will influence the project’s vision statement and serve as direction for VLK Architects.
