Curriculum Nights a Big Success

• Curriculum Nights across our district held throughout the week were a big success. Parents received first-hand information from teachers and school leaders on classroom expectations, goals for the year, and other information that will help our students have a great year.

Friday Morning Student Mentoring

• With fall athletics underway, our Friday Morning Mentoring Program has resumed.

• Each week, our high school student athletes visit various elementary schools where they welcome our younger students, participate in peer-to-peering mentoring, guest reading, and other fun activities. Even our mascot "Rocky the Rattler" and Officer Jeff Corff got in on the action at Rough Hollow Elementary School this morning!

Progress Reports and Report Cards

• At Lake Travis ISD, we believe that a child's education is a shared responsibility between our schools and our parents. Parent involvement in a child's learning process plays a crucial role in their overall development and success. Student grades, progress reports, and report cards are accessible through our secure, online portal, Skyward Family Access. 

• These tools are designed to keep you updated about your child's academic achievements, areas of improvement, and his/her overall growth throughout the academic year. Please note, this is the first year grades 3-5 will receive progress reports, in addition to the 9-week report cards.

• For more information, please refer to our parent letter released Friday, September 1.

2023 Bond

• As you may already know, the Lake Travis school board has approved an order calling a $143 million bond election for November 7, 2023.

• Proposed projects and additional information about the District’s 2023 bond program are available on the Lake Travis ISD website.

Lake Travis High School Volleyball

• Our LTHS volleyball team is playing great!

• These young ladies are ranked in the top 5 in the state and have three wins over top 10 state-ranked teams. Don’t miss the chance to watch our young ladies play this year.
  
  

Labor Day Holiday

• As a reminder, Monday, September 4 is Labor Day; all district offices and campuses will be closed.

• We wish our families a safe and relaxing holiday weekend, we look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, September 5.
