Meal Account Information

  • Adding funds to your student's lunch account is simple!

    My School Bucks Information (Online Prepayments): 

    1. Online meal pre-payments can take up to 24 hours to process.
      • The My School Bucks service charges a convenience fee of $2.75 for online credit card deposits up to $240.00 (as of 7/16/2021).
      • The overall convenience fee for the max credit card deposit is 1%. LTISD Food and Nutrition Services does not receive any revenue from this fee. Heartland School Solutions funds their service via this transaction fee. 
    2. Due to the volume of transactions, any discrepancies in charges or deposits must be reported within five operating business days. 
      • Please allow up to 10 operating business days for resolution of a discrepancy. 
    3. In all instances, students will not be allowed to purchase snacks or a la carte items without a positive balance in their lunch account!
    4. For lunch account refunds and adjustments, please fill out a Refund/Transfer Request Form located in the Forms section of our website.
    5. You may sign up for My School Bucks to utilize transaction history and other features for free. There is only a charge when using the online credit card deposit service.

    Cash and Check Information: To avoid a service fee, prepayments are accepted in cash or check at your campus Cafe. For proper account credit, cash or check prepayments must be in a labeled envelope with student ID# and full name. Checks should be made payable to "LTISD". If you deposit money at your school Cafe, the money is immediately available for students at the campus only. It is available district-wide the following business day. 
     
    NOTICE: MySchoolBucks Fall 2023 Program Fee
    Beginning November 13th, some parents will see a Fall 2023 Program Fee of $2.50 at their next transaction made on MySchoolBucks. This fee will be charged only in connection with the first payment made during November & December 2023.

    Like many other businesses, operational costs to deliver the MySchoolBucks platform and related services have increased. The Fall 2023 Program Fee is intended to help offset increased costs while continuing to provide the highest levels of technology, security, and privacy to parents and administrators using our service. The fee also helps to cover increased costs associated with our commitment to providing personal, live customer service to your staff and parents, without your school district incurring any unbudgeted costs.
