Community Programs

LTISD Community Programs oversees a range of educational opportunities across the district, serving students from our youngest learners through high school. Our goal is to provide students with age-appropriate, engaging, high-quality programs that inspire curiosity, spark interests, and promote development.

Child Development Centers

LTISD offers two Child Development Centers at Lake Pointe Elementary and Lake Travis Elementary, serving infants through three-year-olds. Our centers provide a nurturing, safe environment with low teacher-to-child ratios, ensuring each child receives individualized care and attention. Open to families in the surrounding areas, our programs focus on early learning, social growth, and joyful exploration.

Extended Care Program

All seven elementary campuses offer Extended Care after-school child care until 6:00 pm, with flexible pickup options at 4:30 pm, 5:15 pm, or 6:00 pm. Our programming provides a balanced mix of playground time, gym activities, arts, STEM projects, and games, giving students opportunities to stay active, creative, and engaged after school.

After-School Enrichment Class and Summer Enrichment/Athletic Camp Programs

Our after-school enrichment classes and summer enrichment camps are led by both LTISD staff and carefully vetted contractors, ensuring meaningful and safe experiences for every student. Through these programs, we aim to help students feel excited about school, connected to their peers and teachers, and inspired to explore a wide range of learning and career possibilities.

Summer Squires Day Camp

Summer Squires offers seven themed weeks full of fun, including Art, STEM, Gym, Water Play, enrichment classes, field trips, and visits to the Lakeway Swim Center on Fridays. Led by LTISD staff, the camp runs from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and provides a safe, engaging environment where kids can explore, create, and make new friends.

At LTISD Community Programs, we are committed to fostering a sense of belonging for students, staff, and community members alike. If you’d like to learn more about our programs or how to get involved, please contact our office.
