Injuries & Concussion Management

If you are injured, please inform the athletic training staff as soon as possible. Morning treatments are held for high schoolers in the training room, located at the women's field house on Monday through Friday beginning at 7:00AM. Please come in at that time for evaluation and treatment. If you are coming from middle school, we provide treatment on Tuesday and Thursdays at 7AM to 7:30AM. If you are needing to schedule a time with us, for other extenuating circumstances, please reach out to the staff. We are available to help you with whatever we can.

If, at any point, you are evaluated by a doctor, a clearance note must be submitted to the athletic training staff to continue full participation. Any notes that include restrictions need to be turned in as well. If you need help locating a doctor, we are happy to help as best as we can.

If you have any questions, please contact the athletic training staff.

Concussion Management

Communication is the key when treating a suspected head injury. Please make sure the athletic trainers know if your athlete feels they may have suffered a concussion. Also, please encourage them to be honest and forthcoming with information about their symptoms. We cannot treat what we don't know about!

Attached you will find some very useful information regarding the management of concussions and the return-to-play protocols.  Please feel free to contact the athletic training staff for further information.
