Curriculum & Instruction

The Department of Curriculum & Instruction promotes high expectations for student achievement and collaborates with campus leadership and teachers to ensure students are presented with rigorous learning opportunities. Student assessments for learning are administered regularly to help teachers identify gaps and/or redundancies in learning to adjust instruction and provide differentiation as needed. Whether students work in teams or individually, every minute in the classroom is purposeful.

Instruction is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS), English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), and 21^st Century Skills.
