An industry-based certification (IBC) is an industry-recognized professional certification that represents valued skills that lead to employment and act as a springboard for higher levels of achievement to ensure students' independence and success in life beyond high school. Industry-based certifications offered in Lake Travis ISD are approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and recognized by industry leaders as relevant for each respective program of study. Lake Travis High School offers 25 TEA Industry-based certifications.
