Support students in the classroom by helping them access their accommodations, modifications, and instructional materials.
Assist the teacher with monitoring student progress and collecting data related to IEP goals and accommodations.
Review and follow the student’s IEP, including goals, objectives, behavior plans, health services, personal care needs, and instructional supports. Seek clarification when needed.
Provide personal care services as outlined in the student’s IEP.
Support classroom instruction under the guidance of the teacher.
Encourage each student to develop independence and self-advocacy skills.
