The Lake Travis ISD Technology & Information Systems department is dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of student learning outcomes through the use of technologies.  We pride ourselves on our commitment to creating positive technology learning experiences through personalized world-class service for each end-user.

Students 

The use of technology is constantly transforming today's learning environment to ensure students encounter a culture of learning aligned with the individual learning styles of each student.  Technology integration into our classrooms empowers student voice and ensures that learning is a student-driven process that includes communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity.  We educate our students on digital citizenship so they recognize their responsibility of living in an interconnected digital world, and they act and model in ways that safe, legal, and ethical.

LTISD provides professional development for our instructional staff with a collaborative framework that supports initiatives designed to promote project-based learning with Next-Generation learning, teaching, and leading outcomes

Community

Parents are encouraged to participate in the success of their children and are given insight through various technology tools like LT1 by Classlink and our Learning Management System (Schoology).
