With the start of remote learning at home for all students, meal services will be available to all students enrolled in the Lake Travis Independent School District. Guided by requirements under the National School Breakfast and National School Lunch programs, students will be charged in accordance with LTISD Food and Nutrition Services standard pricing, with the exception of those with approved meal benefits.
Packaged breakfast and lunch meals will be available together for pickup Monday through Friday between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. at each of the following campuses:
Daily meals will be a mix of take-n-bake classics along with cold packaged favorites. In addition, we will have a la carte items available for purchase. Please note, parents/children will need to exit their vehicle and make their selections in person. All visitors must follow posted school protocols for face coverings, personal hygiene and distancing. Meal services are available to all students at each location and are not necessarily aligned with the child’s home campus.
Furthemore, USDA allows school districts to serve meals to a parent or guardian without his/her children having to be present. However, parents and guardians must provide the child’s student ID (either number or actual badge). In addition, we will require the parent or guardian to present validation of their children with any one (1) of the following options:
- Official letter/email/electronic application from the school listing the individual child's current enrollment;
- Report card for each individual child; or
- Attendance record in Skyward Family Access, printed or electronic, for each individual child
