• Mrs. Tara Ali, Instructional Coach

    Mrs. Ali earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois in 2003.  She taught 2nd and 3rd grade for eight years, and in that time earned a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Concordia University.  In 2015, her family packed up and moved to the Austin area. She taught first grade in LTISD for four years.  In 2018, Tara received the honor of West Cypress Hills Elementary Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Ali holds a Generalist EC-6 Certification and has 12 years of classroom experience in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades.   This is Mrs. Ali's second year to serve as our Instructional Coach.  She has a passion for Reading and Math as well as supporting and collaborating with teachers.

    Mrs. Ali loves reading, reality TV, crafting on her Cricut, and spending time on the lake with her husband, Karim, and their three children, Emma, Tyler, and Mason. The Ali Family also enjoys spending time with their two puppies, Coco and Max.
