District-level Committees

  • One measure of a school district's success is the level of engagement and support it receives from its community. In an effort to strengthen our community partnerships and provide increased opportunities for public participation, we are extending an invitation to parents, community members and students to consider volunteering as a member of one of the following district committees. (Note: We are no longer accepting applications to serve on a committee for the 2023-2024 school year.)

    • Advisory Committee for Education (ACE)

Advisory Committee for Education (ACE) is a district advisory group of stakeholders providing feedback and communication to district staff and the Board of Trustees. The work of ACE is supported by site-based decision making, a process for decentralizing and gathering feedback for decisions that improve the educational outcomes at every campus. This collaborative effort by district staff, parents, and community representatives assesses educational outcomes of all students, determines goals and strategies, and ensures that strategies are implemented and adjusted to improve student achievement.
