Welcome to Transportation

  • The primary goal of the Lake Travis Independent School District's Transportation Department is transport students to and from school safely and efficiently. To accomplish this goal, there are rules and responsibilities for each member of the transportation system which includes staff, students, and parents. We ask parents to become familiar with the rules and procedures and to discuss them with their child(ren).
LTISD staff coordinate 78 morning and afternoon school bus routes daily.  The district's fleet consists of 82 buses powered by ultra-low sulfur diesel. Approximately 5,000 students are transported by bus each day during the school year.

Students who plan to ride the bus to and from school must enroll for transportation services.  Parents may request Transportation services through the 2021-2022 New Student Enrollment process and the 2021-2022 Returning Student Packet in Skyward.
