Dr. Amy Lippa
Lake Travis High School At-Risk Coordinator
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University and began her teaching career in Richardson ISD. She earned her Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. After spending a decade teaching at the elementary level and as an assistant principal in Virginia, her family moved to Austin where she began working on her doctorate in Educational Policy and Planning. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2016. She became certified in Special Education and started working at Lake Travis high school in the Fall of 2017 as a collaborative English and Social Studies teacher before becoming the at-risk coordinator in October of 2019.
