I am a Certified Texas School Counselor with an M.A. from Texas State University and B.A. from St. Edwards University. This will be my seventh year in education, with experience as a school counselor and teacher at both the elementary and secondary levels.

I provide education, prevention and intervention services under the standards of TEA (Texas Education Agency) and ASCA (American School Counselors Association). The counseling program teaches knowledge, attitudes, and skills students need to acquire in academic, career and social/emotional development. I provide guidance lessons, groups, individual planning and system support. I also collaborate with staff, parents and the community to create a safe and respectful learning environment.

I was born and raised in south Texas and speak Spanish. In my free time, I love to explore the outdoors with my rescue dog Gibson, spend time with my family and friends and always try to find the time to dance!
