Hello HBMS Families! I am from the small town of Kilgore in East Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with my teaching degree and taught middle school Science and then Teen Leadership for a total of 10 years in Little Elm, Texas. I absolutely love working at the middle school level! I went on to get my Masters in Counseling at the University of North Texas in 2015. I have worked as a Middle School Counselor in Lewisville, Texas and Denver, Colorado before moving to Lakeway. This is my 4th year in LTISD and my 1st at HBMS. I am thoroughly excited to get to know the students here and to be a positive source of support for them, their families, and the amazing HBMS staff.
