    STAAR stands for State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness. It was implemented in spring 2012 and includes annual assessments for:

    • reading and mathematics, grades 3-8
    • writing, grades 4 and 7
    • science, grades 5 and 8
    • social studies, grade 8
    • end-of-course (EOC) assessments, English I, English II, Algebra I, Biology and US History.

     Understanding your student's STAAR Report Card

    Step by Step to logging into Student Data Portal

    The access code is on the bottom of the STAAR Report Card and is the same code for every year.

    Access Code

    Click on Lookup Student Access Code if you do not know your child's Access Code. Enter your child's first name, PEIMS ID and birth date to find your child's access code. The PEIMS ID number is your child's Social Security Number. If you did not submit your child's SSN to the campus then your child was given a State ID or S code. Your child's campus registrar will have your child's State ID or S Code. It is not your child's local ID.

    STAAR Results can also be found in txConnect. Log in the same as accessing grades and there will be a tab titled "Assessment".
