    Hadley Carr – I graduated from UTSA and got my master's in education during my first two years of teaching on the southside of San Antonio. I am new to the Austin area, and I am so excited to be a part of the WCHE family. I am a Texas girl through and through. I'm from a very small town outside the Houston area. I am the middle sister of three girls, and my mom is a teacher in her 35th year in education. I have known that this career has been my dream since I was a kid, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to pursue my love of teaching with the incredible students and staff at West Cypress!

     

    Nikki Cornell -- I am Mrs. Cornell, and I am so excited to be teaching at WCHE this year! This is my 5th year teaching and my 3rd year living in Austin. I have two kiddos who also attend WCHE and a husband who makes teeth for a living. When I'm not traveling with my son's baseball team, I like to spend my free time going to the movies, wandering around Target, getting my nails done with my daughter or reading.

     

    Noelle McDaniel -- This is my 11th year of teaching and my 9th year in fourth grade.  I am a Texas State Graduate, and I am certified to teach EC-8th grade.  I have been married for 16 years to my husband, Dusty.  We have two daughters, and we love watching them in their sports, and extra- curricular activities.  We love to volunteer over our summer breaks and help anyone in need. 

     

    Hannah Minyard -- I graduated from Appalachian State University (roll 'neers!) located in the beautiful mountains of Boone, North Carolina!  This is my third year of teaching, and I'm so excited to be a part of the West Cypress Family!  My goal is to create a classroom of empathetic learners who are ready to contribute to their community! Some of my favorite things include cooking, rock climbing, and running!  If I'm not at school, I'm definitely outside somewhere!  Go Tigers!

     

    Bonnie Mottola – I am a native Austinite—born and raised in Austin.  I am a graduate of Texas Tech University, and I have two children:  Mark, who attends LTHS, and Jacquelyn, who attends LTMS.  I have lived in Tokyo, Japan, Boston, Massachusetts, and in southern California.  I love children, especially 4th Graders and feel honored to be a West Cypress Hills Elementary School teacher.  This is my 6th year teaching at West Cypress Hills Elementary

     

    Kim Roy – I am thrilled to be in my second year on the 4th grade team!  This year, I am teaching ELA and Social Studies. I am a published poet and a lifelong lover of words. I am originally from Indiana and love the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, powerlifting, and decorating cakes.  My husband is named Jarrod, and we have two cats named Oscar and Lilo.
