Student Transfers
Lake Travis ISD welcomes transfer applications and considers them within designated windows throughout the year. Transfer approvals are based on several factors, including program availability, campus capacity, attendance, academic performance, and disciplinary history. Because space and programs are limited, not all transfer requests can be approved. All requests are considered in the order in which they are received and completed.
A transfer student is a child who lives outside Lake Travis ISD attendance boundaries and has been approved to enroll in a Lake Travis ISD school, or a student who resides within Lake Travis ISD boundaries and has been approved to attend a campus other than their zoned (home) campus.
Approved transfer students are reviewed each year in accordance with Lake Travis ISD transfer policies. Please note, transportation is not provided for transfer students except as required by law or Board policy.
