• Cannot be required to use it during testing

TEA Parent Resource: Designated Supports Available for STAAR, STAAR Spanish and TELPAS

(Extra Time is no longer applicable. Testing ends at the end of the school day.)

Designated Supports:

• These include eleven supports that may be made available to students who meet eligibility criteria.
• Eligibility decisions are made by the appropriate team of people at the campus level based on the eligibility criteria and are documented in the appropriate paperwork.
• Each policy document is organized in the same way.
