District to introduce a more safe and secure learning environment across all campuses
At Lake Travis ISD, the safety of our students and staff is a top priority. We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to our campus safety measures in 2025 through a new partnership with FiveStones Safety to implement CENTEGIX's CrisisAlert™ Safety Platform across all our campuses.
This innovative emergency response system enables staff to call for help from anywhere on district property with a simple push of a button on their CrisisAlert™ badge. First responders are immediately alerted to the exact location of the person in need, ensuring rapid assistance to protect our students.
This coming spring, your student(s) may notice a few changes on campus and in emergency drill procedures. These changes include the installation of strobe lights throughout the buildings and new white badges worn by teachers and staff. These enhancements are part of the new technology designed to keep students and staff safer, allowing our educators to focus on creating a productive learning environment.
