Lake Travis ISD Police Chief Andy Michael accepts position with local nonprofit

It is with gratitude and appreciation that I share some news regarding Chief Andy Michael. Chief Michael has accepted a position as a consultant with a local nonprofit organization, effective January 10, 2025.

Since joining the Lake Travis ISD family in 2018, Chief Michael has made a lasting impact on the safety and security of our district. He played a key role in introducing the Standard Response Protocol across all campuses, led the implementation of student ID badges districtwide, and proudly served as the first Chief of Police for Lake Travis ISD. Chief Michael’s distinguished experience in law enforcement has been invaluable to our staff, students, parents, and the greater LT community.

On behalf of the entire Lake Travis ISD family, please join me in extending our heartfelt thanks to Chief Michael for his leadership, dedication, and service. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
