Angie Marsh is the Director of Purchasing.
Ms. Marsh possesses more than 20 years of work experience in business services and procurement. A graduate of McCallum High School, she began her career in 1985 as an administrative assistant for Corporate Risk Counselors in Austin. In 1988, Ms. Marsh joined the Texas Department of Human Services where she served first as an office assistant and then as a purchaser. In 2000, she served as program coordinator for the University of Notre Dame Career Center in Indiana. Most recently, Ms. Marsh served as purchasing manager for the Round Rock Independent School District, a position she’s held since 2002. She is a Certified Texas School Business Official (CTSBO).
As Director of Purchasing for Lake Travis ISD, Ms. Marsh is responsible for the efficient, effective, and ethical acquisition of goods and services in compliance with federal and state laws, school board policies, and administrative guidelines/procedures that provide the best value (i.e., price and other factors considered) to the District. Most purchases are accomplished by means of competitive solicitations per statutory guidelines and are advertised in the Austin American-Statesman newspaper and on this website.
The Purchasing Department works with campuses and departments to ensure that authorized purchases for the District are accomplished using a properly drawn and executed purchase order.
The District has elected to implement the two-year grace period for implementing the procurement rules in the EDGAR.
