Tuition-Based Applications for Pre-Kindergarten
Pre Kindergarten tuition-based applications for the 2020-2021 school year are now closed. The application to apply for Pre Kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year will be posted to this web page on April 1, 2021.
New Student Enrollment 2020-2021
Pre-Kindergarten families who feel their child could qualify for free Pre-Kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year under state guidelines will fill out the form linked below and submit this once normal district operations resume (after May 4, 2020).
Submit qualifying applications via email to the registrar at your child's zoned elementary campus for Kindergarten-5th Grade.
The feeder patterns for Free Pre-K Qualifiers are as follows (space permitting)
Lake Travis Elementary and Lakeway Elementary attendance zones attend Pre-Kindergarten at Lake Travis Elementary
Serene Hills Elementary, Rough Hollow Elementary, and West Cypress Hills Elementary attendance zones attend Pre-Kindergarten at Serene Hills Elementary
Lake Pointe Elementary and Bee Cave Elementary attendance zones attend Pre-Kindergarten at Lake Pointe Elementary
Once you have been assured a spot in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom, you will work with the registrar at your home campus to begin the enrollment process on the New Student Enrollment webpage.

The Lake Travis ISD Prekindergarten program provides high-quality early-learning experiences for our youngest students. Prekindergarteners:
- Develop phonological awareness, letter knowledge, and early writing
- Understand and use increasingly complex and varied language
- Develop and demonstrate an appreciation for books
- Develop math skills
- Develop social and emotional competence
- Use language to communicate for a variety of purposes
