New administrators joining the LTISD family
I am pleased to announce the selection of our newest administrators to the Lake Travis family—Stefani Allen, who will serve as our Senior Executive Director for Curriculum and Instruction, and Brad Bailey, who will lead our support services as Executive Director of Operations.
Under the direction of our Deputy Superintendent, Stefani will lead the development, implementation, evaluation and refinement of the District’s curriculum and instruction services, staff development opportunities, and academic programs. She replaces Elizabeth Deterra who served as Assistant Superintendent for Learning and Teaching Services. Stefani began her 20-year career in public education as an elementary teacher in the Arlington school district. She then joined the Crowley Independent School District where she served as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. In 2018, Stefani was promoted to Director of Social and Emotional Learning and Secondary Support before assuming her current position as Executive Director of Professional Development and Social and Emotional Learning. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Education degree from Tarleton State University. Stefani will join our Lake Travis team on January 20.
As Executive Director for Operations, Brad will be responsible for the management of our Maintenance and Operations, Food and Nutrition Services and Transportation departments. He has more than 28 years of experience in public schools, having served as teacher, coach, assistant principal, associate principal and principal in various districts in North East Texas. Currently, Brad serves as Chief Operations Officer for the Texarkana Independent School District. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Arkansas-Monticello and a Master of Education degree in Administration from Texas A&M University-Texarkana. Brad will start in his new assignment the first week in February and will report to our Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations.
I am excited to have Stefani and Brad join the LT family and hope that you will help me welcome them in their new roles.
