Lake Travis ISD provides stakeholders with an opportunity to serve on district-level committees

One measure of a school district's success is the level of engagement and support it receives from its community. In an effort to strengthen our community partnerships and provide increased opportunities for public participation, LTISD is extending an invitation to parents, students, community members, and staff to consider volunteering as a member of one of the following district committees:

  • Advisory Committee for Education (ACE) 
  • Safety and Security Committee
  • School Health Advisory Council (SHAC)
  • School Library Advisory Council (SLAC)

Anyone who would like to be considered for service on the committees outlined above should complete our 2026-2027 District Committees Application. The application includes a brief description of each committee, along with its scheduled meeting dates, times and location.

The deadline for submitting applications is noon, Friday, August 21, 2026. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee selection for service.
